[yes, except for how AVEN was founded in 2001 and i read my first news article on asexuality in late 2002/early 2003!
this is interesting so far (mostly the science), but culturally speaking this man is clueless. the virgin mary isn’t an asexual figure, she’s desexualized because female sexuality is historically frowned upon. also growing up watching lady gaga videos wouldn’t have made emily bronte more sexual, shut up.]
