Greetings from the new management!
Hello!
As you can see from the previous post, this blog now has new owners! We would like to thank sgyreju for starting the blog and running it as long as she did – you’ve left us with a lot of good stuff to keep building on!
Lisa and I have agreed to work on this together and are setting things up as fast as we can. We will be posting news, reblogging art and quotes and all that, and keeping everyone updated on anything to do with Scott and our beloved books. We hope to have the blog running by next week!
Our most immediate plan, apart from working out our system, is the countdown to the release of The Republic of Thieves, so look forward to that!

good news, tumblr! i will probably stop talking about scott lynch all the time on this blog and move a lot of that stuff over to our official blog! i’m really excited about all of the things that veera and i have in the pipeline, but we’re also open to suggestions! i know i have some followers who are really into these books (you are my favorite followers, don’t tell the others), so if there’s anything in particular you guys want to see, def let us know.
alsoooooooooo if you could all tell me the things you’re most looking forward to in republic of thieves, that would be great. it’s for a thing we’re doing, and my list is pretty much just SABETHA 180 times.

if you like lighter YA, romance stories, and incredibly loveable characters, i think you should pick this up. i have a rule about not reading books with “kiss” in the title, but stephanie was very sweet an funny when i saw her at leakycon ‘11, so i picked this up on anyway.
let me tell you, this book blew me away. i enjoy silly, girly, romantic movies like this, but i generally don’t like books in this genre. i just can’t spend more than two hours hearing about people whose biggest problem is that the person they want to kiss can’t/won’t kiss them. i tore through this in a single day and was on a roller coaster of feelings the whole time, though. stephanie’s writing is fresh and fun, her characters are (mostly) fully developed and interesting, and the love story she weaves is entrancing.
(when you finish, definitely also pick up lola and the boy next door, which is in the same universe and a sequel of sorts.)

I actually found this a couple of months ago when there was that big explosion about that site stealing a ton of artwork and I was looking to make sure none of my own was up there and I found this and I had never seen it before and I GOT REALLY EXCITED. This is by Lee Tao and I would really appreciate no one removing the credit. ALSO IT’S PRETTY FREAKING AWESOME SO I WANT EVERYONE TO SEE IT.

Hipster Hitler, You’re the Worst: AKA Thursday Night at East Forks High at the Disco.
Lisa bought a Happy Meal. Right now the “boy toys” are some sort of Young Justice themed skate boards and there’s a Robin on the box you can cut out and use to ‘ride the skateboard’. (Our skateboard is Wally. I find this hilarious and also appropriate.) Anyway. The copy ON THE BOX says something like: punch robin out, put your fingers in his holes, and make him do tricks! GUYS. I HAVE WANTED TO PUT MY FINGERS IN DICK GRAYSON’S HOLES FOR FIFTEEN YEARS. *cough*
