april smith & the great picture show - terrible things

i started reading gabrielle zevin’s all these things i’ve done today and have therefore had this song stuck in my head all afternoon. (thoughts on the book so far: eh. the narration is incredibly annoying and i find the premise to be far-fetched. also i am not okay with someone born 11 years after me being a grandma. NO MORE FUTURE DYSTOPIAS PLEASE. at least, not if you are going to do things like tell me what year someone’s grandma was born in.)
